| Description | Each Cobblestone Lodging Facility is granted a “Protected Area” for one specific location, described in Exhibit A of the Franchise Agreement. As long as the facility meets minimum guest room requirements and is not in default, the franchisor will not operate or grant a license to another Cobblestone Lodging Facility within this Protected Area. This is the only territorial protection granted, and the franchisor and its affiliates retain the right to distribute products/services through alternative channels (including the Internet) and operate other lodging properties under different trade names within or outside the Protected Area. |
